Anyone have stone or limestone kitchen countertops?

Any feedback on stone or limestone kitchen countertops? We want to upgrade from our laminate counters but do something more unique than granite.

    granite is less hassle and more durable,limestone is beautiful but you have to seal it often as it is very porus.The limestone will also cost more ,but it is difficult to beat the look, if you are good about keeping up with sealing it,and do not do ant cutting on it (use a cutting board) the limestone will be wonderful.If you want a comtemporary look you can consider concrete countertops they can be stained to many different looks and shaped to custom configureations and the cost is about the same as limestone. I am a contractor who deals exclusivly with the luxury home market and I havedealt with limestone ,concrete granite etc and other materials and my suggestion would be to seal the limestone every month or two and it will make you very happy.
