Are hard floor steamer cleaner machines worth buying for a stone tile floor?

I am researching machines that will be a good investment to buy to clean my tile floors, which include grout. I thought a steam-type cleaner would be a good idea.

Any pros or cons in my thinking? I’ve been looking at a Hoover steam cleaner that steam cleans hard floors and carpet… I’m just not certain if it will make the dirty grout better or worse.

    I have a friend with tile floors that get very dirty, with the dirt getting ground in. They have 9 kids. Anyway, she told me about using a steam cleaner, and was very happy with the results.
    And her tile is very worn, so tile in good shape would be even better.
