How can I remove premixed grout from stone tiles?

I recently put down stone floor tile. I used a premixed grout for between the tiles. There are some spots where the grout got on the stone and I would like to remove it without scratching the stone. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

      All depends if you presealed the stone or not before grouting. If you didn t seal the stone and since stone has no glaze to protect it, you may not get it completely off. You can get the excess off but any fine haze you may not with out using a muratic acid solution which I don t suggest using indoors.
      There are OTC cleaners you can buy in tile shops that may work. Such as the effervescence removers, but no guarantee.

      Try a damp cloth. If that doesn’t work try a plastic knife.
