How do I clean my Tile floors?

I just layed new tile in my kitchen, my husband and I grouted last night. What is the best method for cleaning the tile now? They are very dirty from wiping the grout. Is it safe to use water once the grout as dried, before I seal it? Any suggestions would be great!

    Don’t leave anything other than a light grout film on the tile or you will have a backbreaking job ahead of you. Water only after the grout has somewhat sets is fine.

    The way I’ve seen it attacked is a couple of BIG sponges and two buckets of clean water only. Dampen the sponge wipe a small section of floor with that damp sponge use both sides, then rinse that same sponge in water bucket one. Then once well rinsed use the other water bucket two to re-dampen the sponge and go after the floor again. Do that again and again Working in small sections something like 2X2 or 3X3 sections.

    Having tiled many floors & walls ourselves it is true you have to use water buckets & sponges..I use TWo of each…wipe with one then wipe again with the cleaner sponge & water…then I walk a terry towel across the floors to get most of the grout residual up… You can seal the grout once it has been allowed to dry thoroughly…the little dust or film will not effect your sealing…have fun…I hate grouting & cleaning after! Always my job though!

    i just know do not use bleach water. i would say use plain soap and water.

    Stay away from any chemicals, use 2 drips of blue dawn in a 18oz trigger bottle fill with water clean floor w/solution and micro fiber mop, then rinse with water only. Work in 100 sq ft sections. See http://www.lasvegastileandgroutcleaning.com for more information! Good Luck!
