How to remove stains from my stone floor tiles?

My room mate watered some plants in excess, and the excess water dripped from the pots and made whitish stains on the floor. How can I fix this myself, without going to a professional?

      lf baking soda doesn’t work you could try adding some lemon juice to it…magical combination.

      Its calcium use some hydrogen peroxide on it

      I use baking soda and water. It works pretty well. Scrub very lightly so you don’t hurt the finish glaze.

      First, go to a supermarket & buy a bottle of stain remover(less than US$1/). 2nd, u wash e stone floor tiles that has e stain. 3rd, important make tiles very dry. 4th, then pour stain remover out juz enough to cover e stained tiles{ Tiles Dry then stain remover can do e removal}. I did it for my home, result : a success.
      Suggestion made. Do as u deem fit.

      This article tells yo how to remove blood from tile floor. If it can clean up blood stains it can clean up anything. Best bet – BLEACH

      These are mineral deposits from the water. Any harsh chemicals my discolor the stone even more since they won t have a glaze on them. I d first try a baking soda and water mix and do a gentle scrub.
      If the stone has a sealer on it ( its supposed to have) you may get it off. And then the water may have gotten deeper into the stone and you may not be able to.
      Rinse well to get the baking soda mix off and dry. Hope you get it off.
      Don t use bleach or lemon juice. Depending of the type of stone you have, the color in the lemon, may stain the stone.
