I want to paint over my beige ceramic tile floors in my kitchen is that a good idea?

My walls are dark tan color, my cabinets are oak wood color, and my countertops are light brown and tan colors mixed. All of my appliances are white and the color scheme I have going on is Tuscan style decor with shades of orange, red, brown,black,blue,and green. So I’m very confused about what color to paint my floors. Please Help! Thanks!

    I don’t think any kind of paint treatment or the stick-on things would work for high-traffic floor tiles. Keep the beige. Add a couple of larger rugs – not just the tiny kitchen rugs for in front of the sink. Get a long hallway runner, or a large rug in the center of the room.

    You may want to paint a FEW of the tiles with an accent stencil. Maybe fleur-de-lis. Be sure to seal it well so it will not scuff off too soon.

    I don’t know that I would suggest painting the tiles, but you can buy stick tiles (kinda like linoleum) in all different colours and styles.

    Of course a darker floor will match your current color theme the best. But painting the ceramic may not be able to get desirable results as paiting will hide the original textures in ceramic. Have you thought about changing the floor to granite tiles? There are several dark tone granite available in the market. Just a suggestion.

    that is a very bad idea. there is nothing that will adhere to the tile for very long in a situation where there is any (as in any at all) foot traffic.

    Don’t paint ceramic floor tile. Your asking for a problem. The paint will not adhere to the ceramic tile. This won’t work!
