Those who have newer tile floors?

We just put in 1200 sq. ft. of new tile floors. I have washed them so many times and they still have sand on them. How long does it take to get it all up? I even got on the floors and washed each tile 3 times before moving on to the next tile. I can’t believe they are still sandy! Is there some trick to getting it all off?

    If you have spots where it’s really thick use a plastic spackle tool. Otherwise just keep mopping. You are supposed to keep the grout moist for a few days anyways. It’s easier than using a spray bottle.

    Vacuum the entire floor with a shop vac. Don’t use a vacuum with a beater bar.:)

    It’s grout, not sand. Use a DRY terry cloth towel to wipe down the floor. Vacuum up the dust. The film will be gone.
