What is the best way to clean the lines between the tile floors?

My lease ends in 2 days and in order for me to get my full security deposit back, I need to clean these tiles. What are the best ways to clean tile floors and the lines between them? What kind of solution? please don’t say swifter wet jet because it doesnt work

    Add one cup of White Vinegar and half cup of Baking Soda to half bucket of hot water add the baking soda slowly as it fizzes and bubbles over like a volcano stir then mop your floor with a clean mop, to get the most stubborn grout lines clean just use a scrub brush with the vinegar and baking soda solution you can even shake on a little baking soda while scrubbing those stubborn grout lines wait until almost dry then rinse with hot water and allow to dry do not wax tile floors as this can leave a residue on them which is almost impossible to remove, vinegar will leave your floor shiny and clean it will also remove the residue left by cleaners, it will also disinfect and no residue left behind Good Luck !

    Things You’ll Need:

    Commercial Grout Cleaner
    Grout Brush
    Mop & Dry Towels

    Step1
    The first thing you will want to do is sweep and mop your floor to get rid of any excess dirt and debris. You will also want to open any windows in the area for ventilation.

    Step2
    Use a commercial quality grout cleaner and brush to clean your grout. Use the brush to evenly distribute the grout cleaner into the grout lines. It is best to use a professional grout brush with a pole so you do not have to get on your hands and knees. Use the brush to agitate the grout and loosen all the dirt and soil. Use a clean dry cloth or towel to wipe up the residue.

    Step3
    You will want to use a grout and tile rinse to clean up. Wash the floor thoroughly and let dry overnight.

    Clorox and water. Mix the clorox with HOT water ….pour it on the floor…spread it around with a mop. Rinse the mop out and wring. Let the bleach solution sit for about 15 minutes. Mop it up. Rinse mop and mop again. Pour some vinegar and hot water and mop again…..rince mop and mop one more time.

    Hi

    First of all try the grout areas with warm water. Distribute the water evenly and scrub the joints using a scorch guard ( green ).

    Allow the water to stand for some time and scrub it. If you find this not working then go for commercial grout cleaners.

    However after all these work, wipe the floor with water to neutralise and to do away with resdues.

    Well, sorry but it will take some good old elbow grease. I would find a small brush with stiff bristles and make a mixture of water and baking soda and start scrubbing away. Once you’ve done this then you will need to rinse real well, so I would dump out the dirty, baking soda water and get fresh water and start the scrubbing again (this takes the gritty of the baking soda out) Once you’ve done that then give a good mopping. Hopefully the abrasion of the baking soda and the brush will clean out the grime, don’t put any wax down that will seal in the grime. Also if the grout is white, you might get lucky with making a mixture of 1/4 C. bleach and 5 cups of water and again begin scrubbing, this will bleach out any stains, then wet your mop with water and mop the entire floor. Remember, only do this if the grout is white. I have also heard of people using the clorox bleach stick, I personally haven’t tried it simple because I think you need to scrub, and even if you used the bleach stick you are still going to need to rinse off the bleach.

    Use a good commercial grout cleaner that won’t harm your tile along with a grout scrub brush. Check the label to be sure it is compatible with your grout and tile. Be sure it says safe for colored grouts, if that is your situation. If you need more help from a tile professional, go to the link in my source and post in the tile care and maintenance section.
