Working a Full Time Job While Also Running a Business

A good friend of mine is a third grade science teacher and she is frequently searching for science lesson plans for elementary school kids. She wants to keep things fresh and interesting for her school kids and researching different lesson plans helps to do that. Of course at this young age the school kids need to learn the basic principles, things like the various states of matter, mechanical laws and so on. but by investigating various lesson plans she can occasionally find a new angle on previous information.

My friend is among the most ambitious individuals I know. Teachers don’t get paid lots of money so this lady also runs her own business to earn supplemental income. Business is going pretty well for her and so she’s recently been on the lookout for a person to help with general ledger accounting because this lady simply does not have time to take care of every little thing by herself. Having somebody else keep track of all of her company’s transactions and balance her books should help her regain a lot of time. Lots of small enterprises wind up giving themselves a job that requires extended hours and minimal pay. Knowing how you can leverage your efforts by hiring someone and paying another person to take care of the jobs that you’re either not skilled in or just do not have time to do will help you get a lot more completed and in the long run make more money.

Both in her business and in her profession as a teacher leadership is a extremely important quality. One way that she mastered several beneficial leadership skills was to participate in leadership games that were happening in her community. In this kind of environment groups of individuals learn the kinds of skills it’s going to take to become a good leader. These activities also make it possible for people to exercise the strategies they’re learning. My friend is very intelligent and she already understood that leadership isn’t really about attempting to impress people or become popular but is a lot more about being fair, trustworthy and consistently setting the best example to follow.
